Jalen Brunson Drops Team-High 31 Points In Victory
3 years agoDallas Mavericks point/shooting guard Jalen Brunson led the way offensively during the team's pivotal Game 3 series win Thursday, dropping a team-best 31 points on 12-for-22 shooting, including knocking down all seven of his free throws. Without Luka Doncic (calf) available, Brunson has emerged as the team's focal point and primary ballhandler, as he led the team in scoring for the third consecutive game. The 25-year-old's regular-season scoring high was 31 points, which he has either matched or exceeded in each of his past two outings, despite Utah's impressive track record of keeping opposing guards largely under wraps. Doncic's status will continue to swirl ahead of Game 4 on Saturday, but another absence would pave the way for Brunson's DFS stock to continue to climb.
