3 years agoBrooklyn Nets shooting guard Seth Curry (ankle) recently had surgery to repair his left ankle, but he is expected to make a full recovery in time for the start of the 2022-23 year. Curry is on the books to make $8.5 million with the Nets next year, having been acquired alongside Ben Simmons in the James Harden blockbuster in February. Curry enjoyed the best offensive season of his career in '21-22, having averaged a career-best 15 PPG and 2.5 made triples on a nightly basis. In 19 games with the Nets, Curry shot 46.8% from behind the arc, stepping into an integral role as the team's primary sharpshooter. Potentially combining him with Joe Harris next year could significantly allow Brooklyn to stretch the floor against the opposition.--Jesse Borek
