Logan Webb Looking To Rebound In Friday's Start
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb will try to bounce back on Friday after a rough outing his last time around. He'll be pitching against the St. Louis Cardinals, opposite Jordan Hicks. In Webb's last start, he went five innings with seven strikeouts, two walks, four earned runs, and eight hits allowed. The strikeout numbers haven't been there yet, with just an 18% strikeout rate, compared to 26.5% last season. Considering his career strikeout rate is 23%, fantasy managers have reason to believe Webb won't be the same pitcher we saw in 2021. However, the 25-year-old's still limiting walks (5.3 BB%) and owns a 4-1 record with a 3.82 ERA, so he's still providing fantasy value.
