Tyler Stephenson Exits Saturday's Game Early
3 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson (head) exited Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates early after getting struck in the face mask by a foul tip. He went 0-for-1 with a strikeout before leaving and was replaced by Aramis Garcia. Stephenson spent time on the concussion list earlier in the season. The 25-year-old is considered day-to-day, and the team should provide an update after the game. Garcia would see an uptick in at-bats while Stephenson is sidelined. He isn't on the fantasy radar after slashing .179/.220/.282 over 41 plate appearances in 2022.
