Robert Williams III Doesn't Play In Game 7
3 years agoBoston Celtics center Robert Williams III (knee) didn't play on Sunday during the postseason showdown against Milwaukee. Williams was upgraded to available ahead of Game 7 after missing his previous three games due to left knee soreness. However, that didn't matter, as the big man never stepped foot on the court. While head coach Ime Udoka remains adamant Williams' left knee is structurally sound, his absence for a pivotal playoff matchup isn't good. As a result, his status for the Eastern Conference Finals against Miami should be closely monitored by DFS managers heading into Tuesday night. If he remains out, Grant Williams, who had a game-high 27 points and shot an efficient 7-for-18 from deep, should continue to get plenty of minutes.
