3 years agoWebb Simpson has not had the best year in 2022. From missing cuts to just struggling to contend, Simpson has seen his world ranking drop to 50th. Worse, the 76 at the Wells Fargo belies a struggle that has plagued the American golfer for months. He just cannot put several rounds together. Southern Hills in Tulsa will be a challenge as the mammoth course totals 7,481 yards. Consider, Simpson hits just 296 off the tee is not so bad. However, combine with average putting and that has the recipe for trouble at the PGA.
