Tim Connelly Heading To Minnesota
3 years agoTim Connelly will sign a five-year, $40 million contract to become the Timberwolves new president of basketball operations. Connelly held the same position in Denver since 2013 and was instrumental to the Nuggets' success over the years, including selecting Nikola Jokic with the 41st overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He has also been widely regarded as one of the best talent evaluators in the league. However, Connelly will have plenty of work to do in Minnesota, although he will likely prioritize Karl-Anthony Town's development. He will also decide the fate of D'Angelo Russell, who's been rumored to be on the move for a while.
