DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Sonny Gray- P, MIN vs. KC ($8,200 DK, $8,800 FD)
Sonny Gray was my top cash play last time out, he delivered and his price did not change at all on DraftKings while it went up $2K on FanDuel. He has the third-highest strikeout rate on the slate and the Twins are a strong favorite.
Shane McClanahan P, TB vs. NYY ($10,500 DK, $11,000 FD)
He is pretty expensive and going against a New York Yankees team that is dangerous if you do not bring your stuff... especially as a left-handed pitcher. He has the highest strikeout rate (37.4%) and the lowest xFIP (1.89) on the slate. Price will drive people away and I like McClanahan as a tournament play today.
Dylan Cease P, CWS vs. CHC ($9,800 DK, $9,600 FD)
Dylan Cease is in a good spot against the Chicago Cubs today. Cease has a high strikeout rate (35.3%) and the Cubs have the ninth-highest strikeout rate. His pricing is more attractive than McClanahan and I expect him to garner some ownership as his profile is very similar and going against a weaker opponent.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Jose Ramirez- 3B, CLE vs. Elvin Rodriguez ($5,600 DK, $4,300 FD)
Ramirez is my top spend-up on the slate. Third base is not a great spot today and Ramirez is batting .297 with a .348 ISO facing a starting pitcher with an xFIP north of 5.00.
Miguel Rojas- SS, MIA vs. Max Fried ($2,900 DK, $2,300 FD)
I do not love many of the spend-up options. Sure, Xander Bogaerts against a lefty is great, but he is also pretty expensive and unlikely to fit in a lineup with Jose Ramirez. Over his career, Rojas has a favorable split against lefties. My advice at SS is to find a punt that you like.
Cesar Hernandez- 2B, WAS vs. Kyle Freeland ($3,800 DK, $2,700 FD)
Second base is another tough position. Jorge Polanco and Ozzie Albies are my favorites outside of price. Taking price and lineup construction into consideration for cash games, I like Cesar Hernandez. He is likely to bat leadoff, he hits lefties well, and Kyle Freeland is a low strikeout pitcher.
Ryan Mountcastle- 1B, BAL vs. Nick Pivetta ($2,800 DK, $3,200 FD)
Ryan Mountcastle's ISO of .125 is much lower than his career .201 mark, but that has to regress at some point.... right? Pivetta, despite the good start to the year, is still the same guy that has allowed 1.52 HR/9 over this career. I like the value for Mountcastle batting fourth today, and we need some value if playing a high-priced pitcher and a high-priced Jose Ramirez.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Enrique Hernandez- OF, BOS vs. Bruce Zimmermann ($3,200 DK, $3,000 FD)
Over his career, the difference in his production against lefties and righties is stark. If he is leading off today, I am interested.
Nelson Cruz- OF, WAS vs. Kyle Freeland ($3,900 DK, $3,000 FD)
Cruz is not having a great season with a .238 average and .104 ISO thus far. Even with that, it is difficult for me to fade Cruz against a lefty when he is a value on the slate. Probably more of a GPP than cash play here.
Andrew Vaughn- OF, CHW vs. Marcus Stroman ($3,500 DK, $2,700 FD)
Andrew Vaughn should be batting second, facing Stroman. Stroman is allowing a 51.9% hard-hit rate this year so far. Vaughn is batting .280 with a .200 ISO this year and is a solid value on this slate.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Here are a few stacks I am really liking today:
Minnesota Twins - Greinke isn't the pitcher he used to be; he has a 4.56 SIERA this year and strikes out just 11.3% of batters. The Twins should make a lot of contact, and the temperature there is going to be 84 degrees. On top of that, Kansas City has a bad bullpen.
Colorado Rockies - They should make for a good value stack. Nobody thinks to stack Colorado away from Coors and Gray can blow up.
Cleveland Guardians - Elvin Rodriguez is the worst pitcher on this slate.
