2 years agoTexas Rangers catcher Mitch Garver (knee) is back in the starting lineup as the designated hitter on Monday and is hitting third against Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Drew Rasmussen. Garver didn't play on Sunday due to soreness in his left knee, but he's back in the lineup on Monday. The 31-year-old backstop is slashing just .212/.288/.413 in 31 games this season, but he does have six home runs in 118 plate appearances. Garver has gone 6-for-26 with three long balls, four RBI and four runs scored in his last seven games. With Garver at DH, Jonah Heim will do the catching and hit fifth against Rasmussen on Monday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
