2 years agoFree-agent guard Zach LaVine will draw plenty of interest from multiple clubs over the summer. However, his former team, the Bulls, may have an early advantage. LaVine wasn't named to an All-NBA squad, so the maximum amount he can be offered during free agency is lower. The Bulls also have his Bird rights, meaning the veteran can re-sign with Chicago for just over $212 million for five years. In contrast, other teams may only offer up to $157.4 million over four years. The 27-year-old had another fantastic season in 2021, finishing the year by averaging 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists while shooting nearly 39% from deep. LaVine will likely meet with several franchises ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. However, he should remain as productive as ever for fantasy managers, with the only drawback being his inability to stay healthy over the years.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
