Cleveland Likely To Offer Max Deal To Darius Garland
2 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland is expected to be offered a max contract this summer. A potential deal could pay the emerging superstar just over $182 million and keep him in Cleveland for the next five years. The 22-year-old averaged a career-high 21.7 points in 2021-22, benefitting from the absence of Collin Sexton, who appeared in only 11 games because of a season-ending knee injury. Nonetheless, Garland should remain a top producer for a rebuilding Cavs team for many years ahead. Fantasy managers would benefit from his services, with his only significant downfall being his inability to stay healthy.
