James Wiseman Could Play In Summer League
2 years agoGolden State Warriors center James Wiseman (knee) continues rehabbing after undergoing surgery over a year ago. However, Wiseman stated a few months back that he was targeting the Summer League for his return, with the Dubs hoping for the same. The 2020 No. 2 overall pick averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in only 39 games as a rookie while missing the entire 2021 campaign due to a meniscus tear in his right knee. He's certainly not a lock to be available for the start of the season, although it appears he's moving in the right direction. Still, until Wiseman can prove he can stay healthy, fantasy managers may want to look at other options during drafts ahead of the 2022-23 season. The emergence of Kevon Looney during the postseason may also impact Wiseman's stock, assuming the former remains in Golden State.
