Jeremy Pena Out With Wrist Issue
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Houston Astros rookie shortstop Jeremy Pena (wrist) is out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Texas Rangers after he rolled his left wrist on a diving attempt on Monday night. Fantasy managers should consider Pena day-to-day for now. The 24-year-old has been excellent filling the shoes of Carlos Correa this year, as he's slashing .277/.333/.471 with an .805 OPS, nine home runs, 27 RBI, 27 runs scored and six stolen bases in 191 at-bats in his rookie season. Aledmys Diaz will start at the 6 on Tuesday and is hitting seventh in the batting order against Rangers right-hander Dane Dunning. Diaz will be a low-upside DFS play with a batting average of just .222 and three home runs in 108 at-bats on the year.
