3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals right-handed pitcher Jordan Hicks (forearm) will be sent out on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Memphis later this week. The 25-year-old is working his way back from a strained flexor tendon in his right forearm. He has been on the injured list since late May. On Wednesday, he threw a 30-pitch bullpen session and reported no problems. After the session, he said that he felt as good as he'd felt in a long time. Hicks has been utilized primarily as a starting pitcher this year. Over nine games (seven starts), he's gone 1-4 with a 5.02 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
