3 years agoThe New York Yankees reinstated starting pitcher Luis Severino from the COVID-19 injured list after Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Severino only wound up spending about six hours on the COVID-19 injured list. He was originally slated to start Thursday's game, but he was scratched prior to the game while the roster move was performed. Clarke Schmidt wound up starting Thursday's contest in his place. Severino is traveling with the team to Toronto for this weekend's three-game series against the Blue Jays. Jordan Montgomery, Jameson Taillon and Gerrit Cole are the team's scheduled starters this weekend. We could see the team shake things up and start Severino in one of the games, bumping the rotation back or he may wind up pitching out of the bullpen for a game.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
