X-Rays Negative On Ty France
2 years agoSeattle Mariners manager Scott Servais said that the team is cautiously optimistic about first baseman Ty France (arm) after his X-rays came back negative. It looked pretty bad when it happened, when France's left arm collided with an Oakland Athletics baserunner after the throw from the third baseman sailed up the line. The 27-year-old will undergo an MRI exam on Friday just to be sure, but for now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. If France misses any time, Kevin Padlo and Luis Torrens would be the primary options to play first base. France's fantasy managers will hope he doesn't miss any time, though, as he's been great this year. He came into Thursday's ballgame hitting .319/.393/.480 with an .873 OPS, 10 home runs and 45 RBI in 273 at-bats as a must-start fantasy asset.
