3 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (forearm) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 flexor strain in his forearm/elbow area. While he's hopeful that the injury won't cause him to miss a lengthy period of time, he will require a trip to the 10-day injured list. France suffered the injury during Thursday's game against the Oakland Athletics when he collided with A's infielder Sheldon Neuse at first base. France is in the midst of a fantastic season.
