Jake Odorizzi Completes Three Innings In First Rehab Start
3 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (leg) made his first rehab start at Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday. He pitched three innings and allowed two hits, two walks and two earned runs while striking out four. The 32-year-old veteran is expected to make one more start at Triple-A before being activated. He has been out since mid-May after suffering strains and sprains to the ligaments of his right foot and ankle. He was pitching well before the injury, going 3-2 with a 3.13 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP over seven starts. Now's the time to make sure he's not on the waiver wire in your league. He's nearing a return and has a chance to be a solid rotation arm for fantasy the rest of the way this year.
