3 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco (quadriceps) had a solid game at Triple-A Durham on Friday. He went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, an RBI and a run scored. He played designated hitter in the game. Franco has now played in games on three consecutive days at Durham. He's gone 3-for-9 with two walks across the three-game stretch. He played shortstop on both Wednesday and Thursday before shifting to DH on Friday. According to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Franco will either be activated on Sunday or Tuesday, assuming his right quad injury poses no issues beforehand.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
