Welcome back to another edition of our MLB DFS lineup picks. Once again it's Sunday Funday, and we're ready for another juicy slate of MLB action. For those who are not familiar, welcome back my fellow RotoBallers to our free daily article for MLB DFS lineup picks and value plays. This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 6/26/2022, Main Slate at 1:35 pm Eastern Time.
The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options, and value plays. The main slate is 9 games on DraftKings and FanDuel. The one game that is FanDuel only is Coors field. There are a lot of different routes one can go with lineup construction and tournament strategy.

Today's MLB Weather Outlook
Boston and Cleveland has rain forecasted which is unfortunate because this would be a game where both teams are very viable in DFS. Check the forecast closer to lock.
DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Brady Singer - P, KC vs OAK ($8,100 DK, $8,500 FD)
Brady Singer is a strong play on this slate, especially when factoring in his price. He has a 3.32 SIERA, a 23.3% strikeout rate, and a very low 4.8% walk rate. He is also pitching to Oakland, the team with the ninth-highest strikeout rate (23.5%), the second-lowest ISO (.118), and the second-fewest runs scored in baseball. If looking for a high floor and salary savings, Singer is your guy.
Shane McClanahan - P, TBR vs. PIT ($10,300 DK, $11,400 FD)
Shane McClanahan is the best pitcher on the slate. He has a 2.25 SIERA, a 35.3% strikeout rate, and a 5% walk rate. He is facing the team with the second-highest strikeout rate (25.3%), the 19th-highest ISO (.145), and the third-fewest runs scored in the league. On FanDuel he is very expensive, probably not necessary in cash, and that makes him a good tournament play. On DraftKings, he can make it into a cash lineup as an SP1 depending on the rest of your lineups.
Jack Flaherty - P, STL vs. CHC ($6,600 DK, $8,200 FD) - DK Only
I like Jack Flaherty as a punt play on DraftKings if needed. Saint Louis is a -175 favorite and the Cubs are implied for just 3.7 runs. Flaherty has not pitched well in his two starts, he is having some control issues. He has a career 28.5% strikeout rate and he's just 26. Even if it's not this start, the turn around will happen for him at some point.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Matt Chapman - 3B, TOR vs. Chi Chi Gonzalez ($3,600 DK, $2,900 FD)
Chi Chi Gonzalez is not a good pitcher. He has a 4.34 SIERA and is allowing 2.45 HR/9. Toronto will be a good stack; Chapman will likely bat outside the Top 5 and not be included in those stacks. He makes for a good one-off play in tournaments and a cash game option today.
Luis Garcia - SS, WSN vs. Glenn Otto ($3,100 DK, $3,000 FD)
Glenn Otto has a 5.08 SIERA, a strikeout rate under 20% (19%), and a walk rate of 13.2%. Garcia is not great, he has just a .323 OBP and .133 ISO with a 1.1% walk rate. At the same time, he is facing a bad pitcher and could bat in the middle of the order on a team that is implied for 4.2 runs.
Santiago Espinal - 2B, TOR vs. Chi Chi Gonzalez ($2,400 FD) - FD recommended
Espinal could lead off, going against a gas can. I would not pair with Chapman in the same lineup though. An alternative for that situation would be Luis Arraez ($3,100) going against Ryan Feltner.
Cesar Hernandez - 2B, WSN vs. Glenn Otto ($3,600 DK) - DK recommended
The opportunity to bat leadoff against a bad pitcher on a team with a solid run total at under $4K is why one would play Hernandez. If you want to punt, Cavan Biggio ($2,900) and Diego Castillo ($2,100) are players to look at on DraftKings. If you want to spend up, Nolan Gorman ($4,300) or Brendan Donovan ($4,200) against Alec Mills isn't a bad idea.
Hunter Dozier - 1B, KC vs. James Kaprielian ($3,000 DK, $2,300 FD)
James Kaprielian has a 5.03 SIERA and is allowing 2.12 HR/9. He also has a low strikeout rate of 16.4%. Dozier provides a good value here.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Max Kepler - OF, MIN vs. Ryan Feltner ($4,900 DK, $2,600 FD)
Kepler is a better play on FanDuel than DraftKings. He is likely to bat cleanup, Minnesota is implied for over five runs, and has a .225 ISO at home against RHP. On DraftKings, he is too expensive. Alex Kiriloff ($3,200) is an option on DraftKings in the same game. Ian Happ ($3,700) is another option I like if you don't believe Flaherty has it yet. Of if you want to spend up at OF in general, instead of going $4,900 for Kepler, spend $5,700 on Juan Soto.
Gavin Sheets - OF, CHW vs. Jordan Lyles ($2,100 DK, $2,200 FD)
Jordan Lyles has a 4.37 SIERA and is striking out just 18.8% of batters. Sheets has a .216 ISO against right-handed pitching in his career.
Juan Yepez - OF, STL vs. Alec Mills ($3,800 DK, $2,500 FD)
Juan Yepez is a solid play on both sites. He has a .208 ISO and .349 wOBA against right-handed pitching this year. Alec Mills has a 13.4% strikeout rate and a 5.12 xFIP in his small sample size of 14.2 innings pitched. In his career, Mills has a 4.37 SIERA and a 19.6% strikeout rate -- not exactly a gas can but still someone I don't mind targeting in DFS.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Here are a few stacks I am really liking today:
- Texas Rangers - Jackson Tetreault has a 5.69 SIERA and is allowing 2.45 HR/9. Also just a 7.7% strikeout rate in his two starts this year.
- Washington Nationals- Glenn Otto has a 5.08 SIERA and a 13.2% walk rate.
- Kansas City Royals - James Kaprielian is bad. Unfortunately so is the Royals lineup. This could be sneaky.
- Saint Louis Cardinals - Alec Mills doesn't have it figured out.
- Minnesota Twins - Ryan Feltner isn't bad. He has a 3.44 SIERA. He does allow home runs at the rate of 1.82 every nine innings. The Rockies have one of the worst bullpens behind him and Minnesota could do a lot of damage late in the game.
