Eddie Rosario Goes 1-For-4 In First Rehab Game
3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario (eye) played in his first rehab game at Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday. He played designated hitter in the game and went 1-for-4 with a single and two strikeouts in the game. Rosario had laser surgery to fix an issue with blurred vision back in April. He will likely need at least a few more rehab starts before rejoining the Braves, but he's trending in the right direction. Fantasy managers in five-outfielder leagues and deep leagues may want to take a look at the waiver wire and make sure Rosario isn't out there. The 30-year-old struggled to the tune of a .068/.163/.091 slash line this year prior to undergoing surgery, but he's proven to be a capable low-end outfielder for fantasy purposes in the past.
