2 years agoHouston Rockets guard John Wall recently exercised his $47.4 million player option for 2022-23. While the multi-time All-Star and the organization haven't successfully reached an agreement to get him off the team, it appears things may be moving in a positive direction. With the franchise obviously in a rebuilding stage, attention will next be shifted toward resolving Wall's situation, although money continues to be the biggest hurdle. The 31-year-old has averaged 19.1 points, 9.1 assists, and 1.7 steals since entering the league in 2010. His shooting numbers from deep haven't been the best. He has also played just 40 games since arriving in Houston, so there may be some residual rust. Then, of course, Wall has had issues staying healthy, which may have been the most significant issue fantasy managers have encountered over the years. Hopefully, that won't continue to be the case.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
