3 years agoThe Boston Red Sox have called up right-hander Connor Seabold from Triple-A. He will be the team's starting pitcher for Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The 26-year-old has had a nice season at Triple-A. Over 11 starts, he's gone 5-1 with a 2.09 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP while averaging 8.9 K/9. He made the first start of his MLB career last September and lasted just three innings while allowing three hits, two walks and two earned runs. Monday's start may just be a spot start for him, but he could wind up making another start if the team's rotation continues to battle injuries.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
