2 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (forearm) is pushing hard to return from the injured list when first eligible, according to Mariners manager Scott Servais. Meanwhile, Servais stated that the team is ensuring that France "doesn't do anything stupid" in his attempt to get back sooner than expected. France suffered a Grade 2 flexor strain last Thursday and he was placed on the 10-day injured list over this past weekend. He'll be first eligible to return by the middle of next week, but it's still to be determined whether France can get back to action as soon as he hopes.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
