2 years agoThe Seattle Mariners placed outfielder Taylor Trammell (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a right hamstring strain. In corresponding moves, the team selected outfielder Marcus Wilson from Triple-A Tacoma, recalled infielder/outfielder Sam Haggerty from Tacoma, optioned infielder Kevin Padlo to Tacoma and moved catcher Tom Murphy (shoulder) to the 60-day IL. Trammell came out of Tuesday's game early with a right hamstring strain, and he'll miss at least the next 10 days. The 24-year-old missed more than a month with a similar hamstring injury in the minors this year, so he could be out a while again. Trammell has played in only 32 games for Seattle this year and is hitting .235/.323/.457 with three home runs, nine RBI, 14 runs scored and two stolen bases.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
