2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Nolan Gorman (hand) is being held out for the second consecutive game on Wednesday as the team takes on the Miami Marlins. Brendan Donovan will be manning the keystone for the team. Gorman fouled a ball off the bottom of his left hand during Monday's game and his hand remains sore. Cardinals beat writer Jeff Jones reports that Gorman's hand is currently wrapped up and padded. Despite that, he was able to take grounders and swing the bat on Wednesday and Jones reports that he's getting better. The Cardinals are off on Thursday, so Gorman's next chance to play will be on Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
