3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez and second baseman Trevor Story are both getting the day off on Sunday as the team closes out its three-game series against the Chicago Cubs. Christian Arroyo will be covering second base for the game while Franchy Cordero will be slotting in at designated hitter. Martinez has been struggling lately, going just 1-for-21 across his last five games. However, he still owns a strong .307/.377/.487 slash line on the year. Story, meanwhile, has been stuck in a near season-long slump as he's slashed just .222/.298/.411 with 12 homers over 71 games on the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
