Otto Porter Jr. On Track To Join Raptors On Two-Year Deal
2 years agoVeteran forward Otto Porter Jr. will reportedly become a member of the Toronto Raptors in the days ahead on a two-year contract worth $12.4 million, per Josh Lewenberg of TSN. The second year of the deal will have a player option, while the Raptors get additional frontcourt depth in the form of a reigning NBA champion. Injuries have tripped up Porter the past few seasons, but he managed to average 8.2 points and 5.7 boards across 22.2 minutes per outing last year with Golden State. If all breaks right for Toronto, Porter will likely key the team's bench alongside Chris Boucher, with DFS upside on nights where key wing producers are unavailable.
