2 years agoCenter Luke Kornet will head back to the Boston Celtics on a two-year contract, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Kornet appeared in 12 regular-season contests with the Celtics down the stretch, averaging just 2.2 points and 2.1 boards across 7.1 minutes per game. The 7'2" big man previously made 18 appearances (two starts) with the team in 2020-21, and he serves as valuable frontcourt depth behind Robert Williams III and Al Horford. While Kornet isn't likely to have any season-long appeal, he could land on the DFS radar on nights where the team is short-handed at center.--Jesse Borek
