2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels was asked about during the trade discussions that eventually landed Rudy Gobert from Utah. However, Minnesota had no interest in moving him, despite Jazz executive Danny Ainge pushing hard to acquire him. The 21-year-old has shown flashes of promise since entering the league, and he finished the 2021-22 season by averaging 9.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists. While Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns will undoubtedly have things locked down underneath the basket this season, it appears McDaniels should continue to have a prominent role with the club.
