T.J. Warren Joins Brooklyn On One-Year Deal
2 years agoShooting guard/small forward T.J. Warren is set to become a member of the Brooklyn Nets on a one-year contract, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Warren has been hampered by left foot fractures over the past two seasons, which have limited him to a combined four contests. The 28-year-old began to display breakout potential in February 2020, as he averaged 24.4 PPG over the final 18 regular-season outings, before he averaged 20 PPG in the playoffs with Indiana. His upside with the Nets will be largely determined by whether Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will ultimately be on the move; if the duo are dealt, Warren has top scoring option potential for Brooklyn in '21-22.
