2 years agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Shane Bieber had one of his worst outings of the year thus far in his start against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. He pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed seven hits, three walks and five earned runs while striking out six. He was tagged with the loss for the game, dropping his season-long record to 3-5. Bieber had turned in five straight quality starts prior to Wednesday's outing. This was just the second time this year he'd allowed more than three runs in a game. The 27-year-old will try to shake this one off in his next start, which will be next Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
