Joshua Primo Leads The Way Against Cleveland
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard Joshua Primo tied for a game-high 20 points against Cleveland during Summer League play on Friday. The 19-year-old had a spectacular shooting night, going 7-for-12 from the field and 5-for-7 from downtown. He also added five assists and a block, although his efforts weren't good enough to lead the rebuilding Spurs to a win. Primo, who averaged 8.6 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.2 boards throughout 16 starts last season, is in line to start in 2022-23. He probably won't be an everyday fantasy producer. But with Dejounte Murray now in Atlanta, anyone has the potential to step up on the offensive end. Additionally, if he continues to improve from deep, category managers may feel a bit more confident adding him to the roster.
