2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Scotty Pippen Jr. delivered a team-best 19 points during Friday's Summer League defeat to Phoenix. Pippen played 24 minutes, but packed the stat sheet during his time on the floor with four rebounds, three assists and three steals (while also turning the ball over five times). The rookie averaged 20.6 PPG over the past two seasons at Vanderbilt, where he was a two-time All-SEC selection. He faces an uphill path to making the Lakers' roster as an undrafted free agent, but he possesses a pro pedigree and impressive offensive arsenal that could make him an option for a franchise in 2022-23.--Jesse Borek
