2 years agoThe Detroit Tigers have recalled outfielder Akil Baddoo from Triple-A. He will be starting in left field and batting ninth in the team's game against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. The 23-year-old began the year in the majors, but struggled over his 17 appearances with the Tigers, slashing .140/.218/.220 with just two extra-base hits. Over 33 games in the minors this year, he has hit .275/.380/.458 with three home runs, nine doubles and seven stolen bases. He was a decent fantasy asset in AL-only leagues and deep leagues last year thanks to his 13 homers and 18 stolen bases, but he's unlikely to be worth rostering in any fantasy leagues the rest of the way this year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
