2 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks pitched a scoreless ninth inning against the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday to earn his 18th save of the year. He retired each of the three batters he faced, recording two strikeouts along the way. Hendriks has been flawless since returning from the injured list about 10 days back. He's pitched four scoreless innings since his return, allowing no hits and no walks while striking out seven. The 33-year-old is 18-for-21 on save chances this year with a 2.43 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
