2 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have activated outfielder Tyler O'Neill (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list. Fellow outfielder Lars Nootbaar was optioned to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. O'Neill missed nearly a month due to a left hamstring strain. Though he's had a disappointing season overall at the plate, he was heating up before the injury, slashing .354/.385/.521 in June. O'Neill will return to an everyday role in all likelihood, which means that we could see reduced playing time for Corey Dickerson, Juan Yepez or Dylan Carlson. Dickerson seems like the most likely player to lose out on starts with O'Neill back.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
