Elier Hernandez Gets Two Hits In MLB Debut
2 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Elier Hernandez put together a nice performance during his MLB debut on Thursday. The 27-year-old outfielder was called up after putting together solid numbers in the minors this season. On Thursday, Hernandez went 2-for-3 as the designated hitter in the loss to the Seattle Mariners. The expectation is that Hernandez will get consistent at-bats versus left-handed pitching. However, the Rangers still have Sam Huff and Kole Calhoun who will probably play a majority of the time against right-handed pitching. This seems like a wait-and-see type of approach for fantasy managers.
