2 years agoMiami Heat guard Tyler Herro could very well become a restricted free agent next summer. The organization is currently not discussing a current extension with Herro. The two sides have until opening night to agree on a new contract. The Heat are most likely holding off on an extension in case of a possible trade. Both Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell could be options for the Heat this summer. That being said, Herro would likely be part of the trade for either Durant or Mitchell. The fact they aren't discussing an extension with Herro means they likely aren't done making moves.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
