Kenyan Drake Cleared To Start Training Camp
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Kenyan Drake (ankle) has been medically cleared to start training camp. Drake had surgery last December for a gruesome broken ankle suffered last season, and he missed all of the team's offseason program and mandatory minicamp in June. But he'll be back for training camp and will be looking to hold off rookie fourth-rounder Zamir White and ex-Patriot Brandon Bolden as the primary complementary pass-catching back behind Josh Jacobs. The 28-year-old's work load shrunk in 2021 before he broke his ankle, and the new coaching staff in Las Vegas will want him to prove his health before giving him a big pass-catching role. Drake could still be useful in deep PPR leagues, but his upside is more limited now with White and Bolden lurking.
