Welcome back to another edition of the FREE DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks. As customary, we have an all-day ledger on tap Wednesday, and although DraftKings does not have a full-day slate, FanDuel does. Consequently, today's article will feature picks on both sites for games throughout the day, as even on DK, the suggestions will prove viable for someone playing one of the site's split slates.
We don't have any true top-tier pitchers on Wednesday's slate, but there's a solid array of second-tier arms, three which particularly stood out to me based on the combination of talent and matchup. There are also some targetable arms taking the hill, so putting together an array of bats that there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about was a fairly straightforward process as well.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 7/27/2022 that includes a FanDuel main slate locking at 12:35 pm ET. The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. If you have any questions or comments, find me on Twitter and ask away!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Yu Darvish -P, SDP at DET ($9,000 DK, $10,700 FD)
Darvish has had a series of problematic starts on the road, but he just held the NL East-leading Mets to one run over seven innings while recording nine strikeouts at Citi Field on Friday. He also has four other quality starts on the road this season, and a matchup against a Tigers team averaging the fifth-fewest runs per home game (3.74) would seem to bode well for his chances of success. Detroit has just a .300 wOBA and -2.5 wRAA against right-handers at home in the last month, and despite his troubles, Darvish has conceded just a .297 OBP, .295 wOBA and 3.71 FIP on the road, lending credence to the notion he could thrive at Comerica against a questionable offense.
Cristian Javier - P, HOU at OAK ($8,700 DK, $9,800 FD)
Javier held the A's to one earned run over four innings in his one prior encounter with them this season, and he's stymied current Oakland bats to a collective .161/.299/.382 slash line in 57 total plate appearances. The right-hander already generated seven-inning no-hit innings with 13 strikeouts against the Yankees on the road in 2022, so a matchup versus an A's squad that's struggled offensively all season in their pitcher-friendly home park is certainly appealing. Oakland went into Tuesday averaging an MLB-low 6.4 hits and 2.8 runs per home game, and the A's have a .221 average, .282 OBP, and .305 wOBA against right-handed pitching at home in the last month. Finally, consider Javier is outperforming many of his surface numbers, as he carries a .167 xBA, .290 xSLG, 2.55 xwOBA, and 2.63 xERA into Wednesday's start.
Other options: Luis Castillo - P, CIN vs. MIA ($8,900 DK, $10,600 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Jose Abreu - 1B, CWS at Antonio Senzatela ($4,900 DK, $4,000 FD)
Afternoon games at Coors Field in the dead of summer certainly have no shortage of DFS potential, and a slugger like Abreu becomes an even more appealing play than usual in such an environment. Even after going 0-for-4 in Tuesday night's game, Abreu still carries an impressive .300/.385/.463 slash line into Wednesday's action. Moreover, Abreu boasted a tiny 9.8 strikeout rate, .367 average, 1.031 OPS, .442 wOBA, and 21.5 wRAA on the road going into Tuesday, and he's generated a .434 wOBA and 188 wRC+ versus righties in that split specifically. Senzatela has also been hammered by right-handed hitters at Coors, conceding a .395 average, .988 OPS, and .421 wOBA in that split.
Marcus Semien - 2B, TEX at Marco Gonzales ($5,100 DK, $3,200 FD)
Semien has been absolutely elite against left-handed pitching on the road, furnishing a .365 average, 1.070 OPS, .448 wOBA, and 198 wRC+ in that split this season. The veteran infielder has had his share of success against Gonzales in the past as well, posting a solid .278 average, .812 OPS, and only six strikeouts in 43 career encounters. For his part, Gonzales gave up three home runs in his most recent start, and he's pitched to a .328 wOBA, 5.33 xFIP, and 1.4 HR/9 at home. Additionally, he's in the midst of his worst stretch of pitching this season, as he's furnished a .356 BAA, .397 wOBA, 5.18 ERA, and 5.34 xFIP across 24.1 innings in July.
Dansby Swanson - SS, ATL at Kyle Gibson ($4,700 DK, $3,600 FD)
Swanson is now boasting a .294/.351/.472 slash line after going 3-for-5 in Tuesday night's victory, and he already entered the game with a .289 average, .795 OPS, and .345 wOBA on the road. The slugging infielder has tormented Gibson to the tune of a .714 average across eight career plate appearances as well, and the veteran right-hander has allowed a .283 average, .362 wOBA, .844 OPS, and 2.3 HR/9 in same-handed matchups at home. Then, Swanson also happens to be an outstanding hitter against Gibson's trademark sinker, as he owns a .368 average, .968 OPS, and .421 wOBA against the pitch; in turn, Gibson has had no shortage of trouble when throwing it, conceding a .298 average, .366 wOBA, and 144 wRC+ in that split.
Alec Bohm - 3B, PHI vs. Charlie Morton ($3,900 DK, $2,700 FD)
Bohm generated yet another multi-hit effort Tuesday, pushing his season slash line to .290/.324/.399. The emerging infielder enters Wednesday's matchup with an 11-game hitting streak during which he's posted a jaw-dropping .486 average, and he's similarly been a thorn in the side of Morton during their 15 prior encounters. Bohm has a .467 average and .467 OBP versus the veteran right-hander in his career, and although he's had much more success against left-handers overall, Morton has given up a .264 average to right-handed hitters on the road, along with a .335 wOBA overall when traveling.
Other options: Justin Turner, 3B, LAD vs. Patrick Corbin ($4,200 DK, $3,100 FD); Tim Anderson - SS, CWS at Antonio Senzatela ($5,200 DK, $3,900 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Yordan Alvarez - HOU at Cole Irvin ($6,200 DK, $4,500 FD)
Alvarez's bat is so potent that we can disregard the lefty-on-lefty matchup and put some trust in the slugger's history of more than holding his own in those scenarios. Alvarez has a .269 average, .856 OPS, and .369 wOBA against southpaws on the road, and he'd already gotten on base three times in his first four plate appearances in Tuesday night's game at the time of this writing. Alvarez has also frequently solved Irvin in the past, generating a .500 average with a double, a homer, and only two strikeouts in 12 career plate appearances against him. Then, Irvin's strong surface numbers this season are arguably a bit of a mirage, as he's pitched to a career-high 10.1 percent barrel rate, .261 xBA, .465 xSLG, .329 xwOBA, and 4.51 xERA, while the gulf between his 2.40 FIP and 4.31 xFIP at home is partly explained by an unusually low .245 BABIP against him in that split.
Mark Canha - OF, NYM vs. Domingo German ($3,500 DK, $2,300 FD)
Canha is enjoying a resurgent season in the Big Apple, and he's especially thrived in same-handed matchups. The veteran outfielder entered Tuesday's opening installment of the Subway Series with a .294 average, .804 OPS, .361 wOBA, and 140 wRC+ against righty arms, along with an elevated 24.2 percent line-drive rate. He has an intriguing matchup Wednesday against Domingo German, who was shelled by the Astros in his season debut on Thursday. German could well still be sorting out the kinks in his second outing, and it's worth noting he's always been more hittable on the road with a 5.30 ERA, .257 BAA, .782 OPS, .331 wOBA, and 1.6 HR/9 across 183.1 career away frames. And, the fact German has seemingly never been able to figure Canha out -- he's allowed a .667 average to him in 10 career encounters -- doesn't hurt the latter's prospects, particularly at his reasonable salaries.
Kris Bryant - OF, COL vs. Lucas Giolito ($5,100 DK, $3,800 FD)
Bryant is another appealing avenue of exposure to what should be a favorable environment for offense at Coors, as he enters Wednesday with a .301/.370./.476 slash line on the season. The first-year Rockie went into Tuesday with a .316 average and .375 OPS in 88 home plate appearances, and similarly impressive .314 and .368 figures in those respective categories when facing righties there. For his part, Giolito has disappointed considerably relative to preseason expectations, and although he's had more trouble at home overall, he's still yielded nine homers, a .976 OPS, 6.61 FIP, and .410 wOBA to right-handed hitters on the road.
Other options: Andrew Benintendi, KC vs. Janson Junk ($4,200 DK, $2,900 FD)
