2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (foot) revealed after Tuesday's night's 2-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox that he was dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He is hopeful that he'll be able to play through the injury through a treatment method that includes shoe inserts and icing. Bryant played designated hitter in the team's game on Tuesday and he's likely to remain in the spot going forward in order to preserve his foot. He stated that his foot currently hurts anytime it hits the ground, which certainly doesn't sound encouraging, but we'll see if he can continue to manage the injury and avoid the injured list.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
