2 years agoBoston Red Sox manager Alex Cora provided an update on the team's many injured players on Thursday, including star third baseman Rafael Devers (hamstring). He stated that Devers has begun taking ground balls and that he is on track to return from the 10-day injured list when first eligible, on Tuesday, August 2. Devers has been sidelined since July 22 due to a right hamstring injury. The 25-year-old has been one of the most consistently dominant hitters in the majors this year. Across 87 games, he's slashed .324/.379/.602 with 22 home runs, 55 RBI and 62 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
