2 years agoAccording to a tweet from Sports Illustrated's Pat Ragazzo on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers acquired outfielder Joey Gallo from the New York Yankees for minor league pitcher Clayton Beeter. The outfielder is batting .159 with a .282 on-base percentage, 12 home runs and two stolen bases in 273 plate appearances this season. He'll give the Dodgers another power option in the outfield, but as was the case in New York, he might not see much playing time, especially if he continues to strike out in bunches. Currently, Los Angeles' outfield options on the active roster include Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, Trayce Thompson, and James Outman.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
