2 years agoAccording to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, left-handed pitcher Danny Duffy (forearm) had a setback while throwing live batting practice sessions recently. Roberts stated that Duffy is "pretty unlikely" to pitch this season as a result of the setback. The 33-year-old was traded to the Dodgers last season but was unable to contribute while rehabilitating a flexor tendon strain. He then went on to have surgery on his flexor tendon this past offseason. He signed a one-year deal with the Dodgers prior to the 2022 campaign, and there's a one-year club option for 2023 attached to the deal as well.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
