2 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) exited Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles with tightness in his left hamstring. He went 2-for-2 before being removed from Thursday's contest during the fifth inning. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day and will undergo further evaluation after the game. He is slashing .197/.269/.313 with seven home runs, 40 RBI, and 28 runs across 324 plate appearances. Moncada has been limited to 80 games this season due to lower body injuries.
