Yoan Moncada Exits With Hamstring Tightness
2 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) exited Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles with tightness in his left hamstring. He went 2-for-2 before being removed from Thursday's contest during the fifth inning. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day and will undergo further evaluation after the game. He is slashing .197/.269/.313 with seven home runs, 40 RBI, and 28 runs across 324 plate appearances. Moncada has been limited to 80 games this season due to lower body injuries. If Moncada were to miss any games, Romy Gonzalez would see an uptick in at-bats. Stay tuned.
