2 years agoThe Chicago White Sox reinstated starting pitcher Michael Kopech (knee) from the 15-day injured list on Wednesday and optioned right-hander Matt Foster to Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Kopech will start against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. The 26-year-old had a minimal stay on the injured list due to a knee strain, and he's ready to go in a tough matchup against Seattle on the road. Interim manager Miguel Cairo also said that Kopech could be limited with his pitch count in his first start back, so he'll be extra risky for fantasy lineups on Wednesday. He's returning to a 3.58 ERA (4.44 FIP), a 1.21 WHIP and a 98:55 K:BB in 110 2/3 innings over his 23 starts for the Pale Hose this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
