ANALYSIS: Tyrod Taylor is turning into a grown man. Tyrod Taylor looked like the victim of gameflow in Week 1 when the Bills jumped out to an early lead against the Colts, and the beneficiary of it in Week 2 when Taylor needed to make some serious moves trailing the Patriots. Taylor ended up with a 23/30-242-3-3 line on Sunday, but what you love to see is the 5-43-1 rushing line. I'd feel better if his first half looked stronger, he was exposed a bit with some errant throws against New England. Taylor actually graded out with a -2.7 overall grade (-3.6 passing) according to ProFootballFocus. However, he showed why he has plenty of potential, that he won't collapse in the face of adversity, and that his legs can give you a solid floor. He gets Miami next week, who many pegged to be a strong defensive unit in the preseason, but their secondary woes are really hurting them. Outside of Brent Grimes, Miami doesn't really have anyone doing well in coverage right now. Notably, RCB Brice McCain got roasted to the tune of a -2.0 PFF grade against Jacksonville. Taylor then gets the Giants in Week 4 (so Taylor will get 20 points in consecutive scoring drives in the fourth quarter as the Giants collapse), and the Titans in Week 5. These are favorable matchups that you will be happy to benefit from. In Tyrod we trust.
