BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 11% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: It would’ve been nice to see Ahmad Bradshaw get more work in the Indianapolis Colts’ offense than he has so far. Bradshaw had a season high seven rushes for 31 yards against the Carolina Panthers on Monday night, but didn’t get involved in the passing game (he had one target that didn’t get caught). There is some hope that the new offensive coordinator will get him more integrated, but that’s difficult to bank on.
Frank Gore is still going to be the lead back for Indianapolis, there is little doubting that one, but many thought that Bradshaw would be a useful PPR option. This has not come to fruition yet. While the Colts do see him as a passing down back, it’s more in the pass blocking capacity rather than scheming screen passes for him or anything like that. He is a very good blocker, but fantasy owners don’t get points for that. He's getting more snaps lately, but they just aren't ones that are calling for fantasy production. He had some good runs on Monday night against Carolina though, and owners will just have to keep their fingers crossed that the momentum continues. As we are deeper on in the season he is good to own more as a handcuff option for Gore (see: all of the starting running backs that have gone down), rather than a standalone option himself.
